Contact form
If you use the contact form, the message is composed in your own email application and sent by you to my email address. The data you provide (name, email address, company, area of interest, message) is not stored on this website or its server. I process it solely to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to prepare an engagement. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and my legitimate interest in responding to inquiries. Correspondence is kept as long as needed for that purpose and applicable retention duties.
Booking and payment via Calendly
Appointments are scheduled through Calendly (Calendly LLC, Atlanta, USA). When you book, Calendly processes the data you enter there (name, email address, appointment details) and handles payment through its payment partners (e.g. Stripe or PayPal). Calendly acts under its own privacy policy. Data may be transferred to the USA; Calendly relies on recognized transfer mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses. I receive the booking details needed to prepare and hold the session. I do not receive or store your full payment details.
Video calls via Google Meet
Sessions are held via Google Meet (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC). When joining a call, Google processes connection and usage data under its own privacy policy. Calls are not recorded unless explicitly agreed in advance.
Server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider Netlify (Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA) automatically processes technical data such as IP address, date and time of access, browser type and pages visited. This is required to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability, and constitutes a legitimate interest. As Netlify operates in the USA, this technical data may be transferred abroad; Netlify relies on recognized transfer mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses. Log data is not merged with other data sources.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
This website itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. Third-party services you choose to use (Calendly, Google Meet, LinkedIn) may set their own cookies on their pages under their own policies.
Disclosure to third parties
Personal data is not sold or shared for advertising. It is disclosed only to the service providers named above, to the extent needed to deliver the services, or where required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to request information about the personal data I process about you, and to request rectification, deletion or restriction of processing. Where the GDPR applies, you also have the right to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, contact thomas.landis@challengers.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, where the GDPR applies, with your local supervisory authority.
Data security
This website is delivered over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Reasonable technical and organizational measures are in place to protect data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the website or the services change. The current version is always available on this page.
